Drawing means for Ilona Trimbacher a walk, using a pen on a sheet of paper and thereby seeing and discovering all sorts of different things. In doing so, new or everyday motives gain interesting new connections and find their expression in drawings, illustrations and animations. Playing with ambiguity offers the viewer the chance to reflect and smile. Trimbacher works as a freelanced illustrator and animator. With her theme "Schwarzwald Stricheleien“ she blows a fresh breeze and new life into typical and partially forgotten motives of the Black Forest giving them a new way of interpretation.
