Olivier TaDuc

Oliver TaDuc was born in France in 1962. Initially, he wanted to study Medicine, but his love for comics was stronger. After some works with texters such as Dieter, TaDuc got interested in the history of chinese immigrants in California in the 19th century. That lead to the series "Chinaman", for which he drew nine albums with texts by Serge Le Tendre. The final book "The Tiger Awakens" was published in 2021. In this book, Chinaman meets his son. Chinaman 1 and 2 were published long ago by Splitter in Germany, books 3 and 4 by Salleck Publications. Now, books 1 through 9 are published in two compilations. Oliver TaDuc worked also on the series "XIII Mystery", published by Carlsen in Germany. The sympathetic artist was already the guest of Salleck Publications in Erlangen years ago. We are happy to have him on our booth this year with "The Tiger Awakens" and the first compilation of Chinaman, including books 1 through 4 and many extras.
