Gunther Schunk

Gunther Schunk prefers to work with tones and letters, and most of all with blues and dialect - because both are really authentic. As a trained dialect researcher and friend of all forms of language acrobatics, the position of speech bubble filler in dialect for the great volumes of Asterix and Obelix was just right for him. Especially since he has found two congenial partners in Kai Fraass and Hans-Dieter Wolf. The transfer of what are now five volumes of Asterix into the Main Franconian dialect has been a lot of fun. When it comes to comics, his preference is in Belgium, especially Hergé.
