Ulrich Schröder (born 4 April 1964 in Aachen) works as a cartoonist and commercial artist since 1983. From 1989 to 2006 he was Art Director of Disney Publishing Worldwide in Paris, responsible for the artwork of the Disney brand. In November 2006, Ulrich Schröder founded the Duckworks studio where he collaborates with numerous artists, designers and copywriters as well as educating and training Disney illustrators. Ulrich Schröder designs many cover pictures of the Mickey Mouse booklets in countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, the USA, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, as well as a number of book covers and illustrations from the Disney universe, just like one of the current Disney Anniversary Albums Goofy “90 Years of Chaos” of the Egmont Comic Collection. Ulrich Schröder lives in Barcelona and Paris.
