Roya Soraya, born in Hannover in 1996, studied communication design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. She is an illustrator and comic artist, likes to tell stories with a feminist attitude and focuses on the diversity and humanity of the characters. Goethe's Faust is her comic debut, in which she tells the classic from a modern perspective. She is currently working on an autobiographical graphic novel about her journey to her roots in Iran.
