Rudolph Perez is a comic author, illustrator and cartoonist. He is co-founder and permanent contributor to "ZEBRA, das anspruchsvolle deutsche Comic-Magazin" full of exciting and shrewd adventure comics for adult cultured readers, awarded the ICOM Independent Comic Award. Creator of the science fiction comic book/paperback series COMMANDER CORK (Gringo Comics) about a famous administrator from the planet Meta-Pengo and his eternal fight against cheeky mutants, work-shy robots and annoying laws of nature. Together with the ZEBRA crew, especially editor Georg K. Berres, Perez creates authentic stories from the mysterious world of the comic business between audience expectations and career dreams, success strategies and work routines in a bold mixture of factual reportage style, quirky funny comics and sentimental autofiction. So far there are two comic-strip experience anthologies: "Als ich nicht gefunden hab, was ich suchte, habe ich diesen Band gekauft!" and "In der Tusche liegt die Wahrheit".
