Lenz Mosbacher draws and writes stories. He uses sequential narration to explain complex contexts and issues in a simple way. His work can be found in comics, illustration, film, advertising, theatre, exhibitions, etc. His self-published comics include the comic strip volume KAKAPO, two issues of the anthology DIN ("Drawn into Narrative") and currently UNDER A BROKEN MOON (2022). As artist in residence at Hin&Weg Festival 2018, he created the comic-based project "Kakapo und die Fliegenden Blätter" in interaction with festival-goers. He currently conceived the exhibition design for the permanent exhibition of the Landesmuseum Burgenland, where he understood the spatial conditions of the museum as comic pages and the visitors' exhibition experience as his storytelling.
