Max und Moritz Audience Award

The Max und Moritz Audience Award will be presented for the eighth time in 2022. Voting for the award will take place in three phases and will end on Thursday, 16 June, at 7:00 pm. The audience award will be announced together with the winners of the other categories at the Max und Moritz Gala on Friday, 17 June, at 8:30 pm at the Markgrafentheater in Erlangen. The audience has a direct influence on the nominations for the Max and Moritz Award, as they themselves choose three of the nominated titles.
 

Round 3: "Vote" | 2 May to 16 June 2022

The three nominated titles of the audience from Round 2 as well as the further nominations of the Max and Moritz jury will be submitted for the audience award in the third round. Voting will take place online on the International Comic Salon website. One vote per person can be cast. Voting closes on Thursday, 16 June, at 6:00 pm. The audience award will be announced at the Max und Moritz Gala on Friday, 17 June, at 8:30 pm at the Markgrafentheater in Erlangen.

Round 1: "Suggest" | 21 February to 6 March 2022

Comics, mangas, graphic novels and web comics published in German since April 2020 can be proposed for the audience award, regardless of whether they are German-language in-house productions or translations from other languages. Suggestions can be made on the Facebook page or the Twitter account of the International Comic Salon, in the Comic Forum or by e-mail to maxmoritz@comic-salon.de. Up to three different suggestions are possible per person. The most frequently mentioned suggestions will move on to round 2.

Round 2: "Nominate" | 14 to 27 March 2022

The 20 proposals with the most nominations from Round 1 will be put forward for nomination in the second round. This year, voting will take place directly via the International Comic Salon website. One nomination per person is possible. The three titles with the most votes overall will be nominated for round 3 of the Max und Moritz Awards.
