Matthias Lehmann, born in Dresden in 1983, completed his studies and master's degree at the Dresden University of Fine Arts. He drew the comic "Claude Monet" (Prestel Verlag), publishes zines and is regularly featured in the comic anthology "Jazam". In 2019 he was awarded the Ginco Award for the "Best Short Comic". In 2021, Reprodukt published "Parallel" - a work with which he was one of the finalists of the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung Comic Book Prize in 2018.
