Barbara Fischer

Barbara Fischer, born in Weimar, gave free rein early on to her genetic kinship with the fantastic and was a member of the GDR artists' group DNS (Die Neuen Sinnlosen). Her affinity for surrealism led her seamlessly into the realm of comic fantasy. During her studies of literature and ethnology in Cologne, she established the themes she plays with in her books. She is an author at the Berlin publishing house periplaneta, which is releasing the Tree Worlds Saga series: Lilith (2019), Freyja (2020), Frigg (2021).
