After the sudden suicide of their father, sister and brother begin a silent correspondence: she writes to him, he sketches back. Each filled page reveals what words are often lacking. The dialogue opens up a world of enchanted memories, riddles and feelings that, intimate as they may be, bring to light something universal: That nothing is as one expects, fears or hopes. The siblings guide us through their now and then. In the forest of their childhood, on the way through the valley, they show in multi-layered image-word compositions, in allegorical and occasionally ironic drawings, that in the end a place is often surprisingly more than just a catastrophe.

In the interplay of installative, acoustic and classical-visual elements, the exhibition creates atmospherically dense "visual poems" that transport the viewer into the world of the book and make the mood of the narrative palpable.
