Carlsen launched its comic book program with "The Adventures of Tintin" in 1967. Successful manga series such as "Akira," "Dragon Ball," "One Piece" and "Tokyo Revengers" have also been published for over 30 years. Today's Carlsen Comics program stands for classic funny series such as "Tintin", "Spirou and Fantasio", "Clever & Smart" and "Marsupilami", strips such as "Peanuts" and "Calvin & Hobbes", graphic novels by authors such as Will Eisner, Reinhard Kleist and Catherine Meurisse, and in-house productions by artists such as Flix, Jennifer Daniel, Melanie Garanin and Bernd Kissel.
