400 years ago, Sibylla Schwarz was born in the midst of the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War. She died of dysentery at the age of 17. In this short life, Sibylla wrote over 100 poems of great poetic power, which also testify to an astonishing self-confidence as a citizen, poet and woman. Max Baitinger combines the life and work of the baroque poet with his very own view of her person in this comic biography, which was awarded the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung Comic Book Award in 2020.
