Berthold Leibinger Stiftung präsentiert: Making-of eines Comics: „Madame Choi und die Monster“

How is a comic created? In a workshop talk, illustrator Sheree Domingo and scenarist Patrick Spät show the process of creating their graphic novel "Madame Choi and the Monsters", which was awarded the Comic Book Prize of the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung in 2022. The comic duo provides insights into the making-of of the comic and covers an entire spectrum, from the plot idea and the writing of the script to character design and the joint production of the storyboard. They also show how pictures and text or a draughtswoman and a writer work together.
Bianca Henze, project manager of the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung Comic Book Prize, will be present to answer questions about the prize.
