Ruben Brandt, Collector (HU 2018)

Psychotherapist Ruben Brandt doesn't have it easy. In his dreams he is haunted by famous works of art. He is attacked by Botticelli's Venus, thrown out of an airplane by van Gogh's Postman, and when he is not losing an arm to Diego Velázquez's Infanta Margarita, Andy Warhol's cowboys shoot him. The only solution to end the literal nightmare is to steal the works. Ruben assigns four of his patients to this mission and a fast-paced spectacle begins. The animated film is not only full of action, but also offers lessons in art history as well as historical allusions - an entertaining pleasure and a visual firework!
