Weltengewitter – Der Ring des Nibelungen in 22 Comic-Heften

The illustration class of the Berlin University of the Arts was challenged with Richard Wagner's Ring cycle in the winter semester 2021/22. What emerged: The four operas of the "Ring" in a staged reading and a thick slipcase with 22 comic books, printed in silkscreen and risograph in an edition of 50 copies. This fusion of comics and reading illuminates the milestone in opera history from an unusual perspective.
