Jonny Bauer, born Carsten Johannisbauer, writes children's books, novels, plays and radio plays as well as texts about music, art and politics. His picture book comic "Kaya & Flo," drawn by Stephan Lomp, is published by Kibitz. Jonny Bauer studied culture, aesthetics and media and was editor-in-chief of the art magazine "Blurr" for 15 years. He writes children's books ("Ein Affe an der Angel", with Stephan Lomp, Ars Edition), novels ("Scheiternhaufen", Shanghai Schaschlik, both published by Salon Alter Hammer) as well as show and radio plays. He is also musically active as a lyricist and singer in the Düsseldorf punk band Oiro. Jonny Bauer also works as an art director and lecturer at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, for which he gives seminars in graphic design. With his scenographic art project "The world longest vegetarian sausage" he is in the Guinness Book of Records.
